swecr

There has been a lot of work on semantic content management, but mostly the work was on (semantic web) (content mangement). I try to make progress in (semantic web content) management.

What is semantic web content? It's certainly more than ontologies, and it's certainly more than documents. For me, semantic web content is what you get when you combine thousands of little resources, text or images, and weave a semantic network around them. Snippets can be short, playing the role of conceps, they can be long and play the role of documents. They can also be something in between. Semantic web content management (SWC-M, not SW-CM) should also allow to annotate parts of snippets. And handle binaries! And versioning! And access rights!

With the Java API swecr, I try to start this.
Swecr sthands for "Semantic WEb Content Repository".
